  • What should I expect in my first class?
    Knowing the structure (warm-up, skill/strength, WOD (workout of the day) helps ease nerves.
  • Do I need to be in shape before starting?
    Spoiler: You don’t — but it’s good to hear that from a coach.
  • How do you scale workouts for beginners?
    Scaling is key to avoiding injury and building confidence early on.
  • What kind of results can I expect, and how soon?
    Helps set realistic expectations about progress (performance, body comp, etc.).
  • How often should I come each week?
    Most people start with 3x/week and build up. Overtraining is real.
  • What gear do I need to start?
    Usually just comfy clothes and flat shoes — but some people love gear (wrist wraps, shoes, jump ropes, etc.).
  • Will I be doing the same workout as everyone else?
    Yes, usually — but it’s scaled to your ability. This builds community and accountability.
  • What if I can’t do certain movements (e.g., pull-ups, lifting overhead)?
